Our meetups are an exciting two-part adventure: Film Screening: We'll watch a carefully selected film from our cabinet of curiosities. Our program includes works like Jodorowsky's "The Holy Mountain," Tarkovsky's "Stalker," and Gilliam's "Brazil." Creative Explosion: After the film, we let our imaginations run wild. Depending on the mood and inspiration, you are invited to: Write short stories or poems inspired by the film Sketch or draw scenes or themes from the movie Dive into philosophical discussions about the film's meaning and symbolism Explore performance art or other creative expressions or just hang around and enjoy the mood. Voller Selbstverständlichkeit priorisierte die Politik das Auto als Hauptmobilitätsmittel des urbanen Raums im Nachkriegsdeutschland. Die bombenzerstörten Straßenzüge und Viertel sollten in neuer Form wiederentstehen, bequem mit schweren Fahrzeugen erreichbar sein – kurzum dem „Fortschritt“ Platz machen. Münchens Stadtplanung, wenn auch nicht mit der Radikalität anderer deutscher Städte, bildete hier keine Ausnahme von diesem Trend. Entlang des Altstadtrings erläutern wir anhand exemplarischer Stationen die Geschichte und Ziele der „autogerechten Stadt“, erkunden, welche Eingriffe in die Bausubstanz hierfür erfolgten, erleben, wie dieses Phänomen bis heute unser Stadtbild prägt und diskutieren gemeinsam, wie die Stadt mit diesem Erbe umgehen sollte.
