The first few lessons of a course can really shape how the course will continue. In this workshop, we will look at ways of establishing an agreement with the learners so you are all on the same page. As well as looking briefly at how to create a good classroom atmosphere, we will focus on analysing learners’ needs, helping them establish realistic goals and negotiating this agreement with the learners with the goal of ensuring they continue to attend the lessons.
