Efficient communication is important for success in international projects. Team members need to understand what to deliver, when, and in what format. In this course, we will practice asking for clarification, giving updates, and presenting project milestones. We will simulate team meetings and webinars, and practice writing minutes and emails to project partners. Bring your own examples so we can tailor the sessions to your needs and help you gain the language skills and confidence you need.

This advanced course will offer the opportunity to develop fluency in conversation through discussions of contemporary topics. From environmental themes to the economy, from political concerns to philosophy, we will explore present-day social trends of interest. Prior to each meeting, background information, usually in the form of reading texts and short videos, will be sent via e-mail.

In this course we will talk about some of the most significant social trends that characterize a modern civilization and their impact on our daily lives.
