Afternoon Tea is a British tradition, introduced in the early 1840s. It evolved as a small meal to stave off hunger before the evening meal served around 20:00. The tea usually consists of small sandwiches, scones and a selection of cakes. In this class a British patisserie expert will show you how to make three baked items typically found in an afternoon tea. You will also learn some of the vocabulary involved in baking and be able to practice your spoken English.
